Roll over the map and select one of the three restoration areas to view more detailed maps and links to immersive panoramas and images of the projects.

What we are attempting to do with the River Menders Interactive Virtual Tour is to make a visit to the site “look and feel” a lot like the experience a person would have if they actually did visit one or more of the riparian restoration locations in person. The wealth of visual and audio information that is becoming available on this web site will make it possible for an individual to see dynamic multimedia information in a few hours or a day that could take weeks or months to find any other way.

Ideally a viewer who visits one or more of these unique areas in real life or on the Internet would become interested in actively participating personally in similar restoration activities. And, they would also want to continually use the web site to stay informed and contribute information and ideas about locations and issues they are interested in. The Network Center is designed as a social networking service to facilitate this participation.
