Photo GPS monitoring comprises an essential part of the restoration work that the Idaho Department of Fish and Game conducts annually at all of the project’s planting sites such as the East Fork South Fork Salmon River pictured in this panorama. This newly established photo GPS point was established in August 2005 at an old dam site which the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality dismantled to allow fish passage again in the department’s efforts to clean up and restore land at Stibnite mine.
